    Big Dumb Loads

You would be amazed how many younger drivers we hire that come to us having never seen one before. Driver I road tested for hire today last worked directly for Ryder, he saw the Johnny Bar and said "thank God! I didn't have one of these at my last job!"

That's a piss poor comparison. You are being paid to train somebody how to safely operate a commercial vehicle, but instead you chose the path of least resistance and only train them to pass a test. On flat land. You don't teach them how to use the Johnny bar because they won't be asked to use...

New Ford Duallys are 6+ months out?

Sorry, long day at work and a total brain fart of a post. The NOX sensor is the second most problematic one in heavy trucks, and will just rear its ugly head without those quality sensors getting in the way.

New Ford Duallys are 6+ months out?

That's why the law was changed to allow this sensor to be ignored... but its only going to move the problem/expenses to the SCR Efficiency sensor.

    Big Dumb Loads

There are three primary reasons: 1. Purchasing/Leasing the absolute cheapest truck possible. 2. Owner/ Lease Operators pay for their tractor's maintenance and would be more likely to use the Johnny Bar to hold the truck back going down grades, burning the company's trailer brakes up. 3...

New Ford Duallys are 6+ months out?

It was designed to ensure DEF was put in the tank instead of just water (we all know we would do it if it worked).

Depends. If the company is too cheap, they will delete the option at the time of purchase to save something like $135 per truck.
