    1990 Defender 110 Exoskeleton Questions

How functional is the exoskeleton of a 1990 Land Rover 110?

I don't see any triangulation in the design.

I'll assume the points/base of the cage hoops is mounted to a hard point(?).

I'm pondering (this week anyway) on whether to do this on my '94 FS Bronco.

BTW; I love the Defender 90 and 110.

It's to hold up the roof-racks. The stock sheetmetal isn't much.

It is not a proper roll-cage.

The Safety Devices cages (as used on Camel Trophy) are bolted through the body panels and down to the chassis. There is also a B pillar hoop with diagonal braces. I agree though - there is a distinct lack of triangulation on the cage in your photo!
