Title says it all, need something different other than the normal nor cal Sierra trials. I've wheeled the fresno east area but haven't hit anything other than the hammers that's south of that. What good spots are out there?

Heard bear valley isn't bad but if I go that far, I'm hitting the hammers.

Big Bear is fun, drive down the 38 to Burns Canyon just past lake Baldwin, there is some lesser known trails over there that are also a lot of fun to run. I have heard the canyons around calico have some fun trails but have yet to make it out there.

I want to take a week off, hit a bunch of trails in big bear, drive down through burns canyon hitting the trails through there, and "overland" to hammers. One of these days I will find time for it.
