I have this samurai for a few years now and have decided to start my first build. I am a novice welder and have never taken on a project like this so we will see how this turns out! Any input would be greatly appreciated.

- Toyota axles already built with 5.29 gears, front detroit locker and longfield shafts, rear is spooled.
- Toyota IFS steering box that I will attempt to tap for hydro assist.
- Extend wheelbase to 95 inches.
- I want to keep the samurai look but cut the rear of the tub off and fab a bed using the original tailgate.
- Suspension front will stay leafs, rear will be upper triangulated 4 link with airshocks.
