Thanks man!! I'm guessing y'all are primarily in centeral/northern NM?
I live just outside of Albuquerque, but I wheel down south (Socorro, Caballo, and Las Cruces) fairly often.
I think about half of the people I invited are in the central/Albuquerque area, a few are around Farmington, and a couple of others are in Las Cruces.

I'm just north of Santa Fe. About halfway to Espanola. I work on the hill and some of you may recognize my avatar for what it is.
I drive a yellow 07 FJ around that has several mods on it. But I'm hoping to get my 72 CrewCab to a decent running state where I can make it more than 70 miles per tank (7.5 smiles per gallon is great... at least before our current gas prices at $4/gal).
Nice to have you aboard! I need to get some projects out of the way so we can get another Irate wheeling trip together. Any good spots up by Santa Fe?
I've heard of/seen footage of places around SF, but it seems like they're either private property or super hush hush. Would be cool to have another fun spot closer than socorro.
I don't know about any legal places around Santa Fe other than the Caja Del Rio area, but those are all easy forest roads.

I know a lot of people still poach it though.. .
That and Gonzo aren't legal anymore. I don't understand why the Forest Service in New Mexico is so opposed to having challenging technical vehicle trails in their route inventory. They consider 4th of July Canyon by Red River too extreme for full size vehicles
Somehow the Colorado Forest Service can manage hardcore trails on their land.
There are several good trails in the Santa Fe area that aren't on any MVUM though…
Dam that was a fun trailyes, but its been wiped from the MVUM.

Were you out and about during the Fall Crawl? I didn't see any of your rigs around.
I was out at the WErock finals but Fall Crawl isn’t ringing any bells
Fall crawl is the recreational wheeling event during the 4 Corners 4x4 Week before the Grand Nationals on the weekend. We were out there Thursday-Saturday. We only stopped by the Grand Nationals for a few hours while others in out group were regrouping to go out again.
If you come up again let me know. Me and my brother try to go out whenever we can.
