Has anyone tried balancing beads in their tires?

Thinking of changing my own tires. I don't have a machine but should be doable with spoons. On the issue of balancing I can either buy a balancing stand and place weights at the light end, or was thinking of trying the beads. Anyone have any experience with beads on motorcycles? I do a fair bit of highway and routinely go over 100mph.

Got 'em in both the SV650 and the Tracer 900 at the moment. Triple digit approved on both bikes. They seem as smooth as the best balancing job using weights I can detect. The only thing I can notice and only occasionally is if you loft the front tire from a standing start (or get it real light under heavy accel from a standing start), there is the briefest of moments you can feel a slight imbalance until the rotational speed of the wheel 'catches up' and distributes the beads in the tire. Probably a non-issue for most bikes and riding styles anyway. I'll use them again on the street, FWIW.

Being dead honest, I changed my own tires on my VFR800, didn't do jack shit to balance them and never noticed any hop or wobble. YMMV on spoke wheels and stuff though.
