you have widely missed a significant message about america.

I was watching a live stream a couple weeks back, the guy was talking about how he was wearing an American Flag face mask because he felt it was important to "take back the flag" because he, as a liberal, supports America. about 5 minutes later, he had some people come up to him and question/pester him until he removed it.

Black Nationalism has made a bit of a resurgence on this movement. black nationalism is at it's core anti-american. fundamentally anti-american, the same way that all [race] nationalism is.

#BLM is openly, now that they are getting enough attention to be forced to it, maxist or collectism or whatever you want to call it. those are openly anti-american policy views. again fundamentally against the foundational notion of america.

now, it is very likely that not all protesters understand that. a great many probably don't believe that stuff, but the $$$ and the organization and the rallying voices are overwhelmingly anti-american and deeply bigoted (racist).

          ^^^ YES!^^^

one of these fucktards was challenging me on the notion that america, specifically trump, meets all 14 stages of fascism. turns out, it is super easy to see those as common traits across MANY of these "protests"

          3. Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause - The people are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy over the need to eliminate a perceived common threat or foe: racial , ethnic or religious minorities; liberals; communists; socialists, terrorists, etc.

Yup, all those racist blacks that are against a bunch of white people that have no issues with them. Dont protest black on black violence that would make your black ass racist. Or all the white people protesting other white people in the name of black people, the fix for that seems to be anarcho socialism.

and for good measure, in general, fuck the mexicans

watched a popular voice in the movement say "we need to not forget to check ourselves, most violence against black women comes from black men" and instantly another megaphone showed up "whoa whoa whoa, black on black crime is a lie perpetuated by the police. we are not here to give any credence to their lies"

then chants went back to "fuck the police" and shit

Racism is not prominent in America. Most of those who are protesting have no idea what they are even protesting about.
So what exactly made the George Floyd killing racial? Was it the simple fact that the cop was white and Floyd was black? Did the cop say or do anything that made it appear to be racially motivated? What if it was a black officer who killed him? If the officer was any other race then white, would it still be racist? What if the officer was black and Floyd was white? There is nothing in this murder, which is what it was, that seems to be racist.

                  https://www.foxnews.com/politics/atl...m-protest-site

                  Excerpt from the article.
"In 2018, the latest year for which such data have been published, African-Americans made up 53% of known homicide offenders in the U.S. and commit about 60% of robberies, though they are 13% of the population," Heather Mac Donald wrote in The Wall Street Journal this week.

"In 2018 there were 7,407 black homicide victims," she went on. "Assuming a comparable number of victims last year, those nine unarmed black victims of police shootings represent 0.1% of all African-Americans killed in 2019. By contrast, a police officer is 18½ times more likely to be killed by a black male than an unarmed black male is to be killed by a police officer."

by all means, take your time with it. after 20 minutes it goes to a Q&A.

youtube does sub titles if it's easier to mute it and read some. it's pretty good, and honestly I don't give much validity to the opinions of Europeans, but she makes a good point in one of her videos that Europe has more or less co-opted the American version of race relations and history as their own.
