    Road bicycle guys

I had the bike thread over there but I will start another here,

I bought the Cannondale Lefty and I love it. Been riding it like crazy and have no thoughts of getting rid of it. I have been riding with some people that do 25 mile rides and the Lefty gravel bike isn't ideal for that.

I thought about getting another set of wheels and tires and swapping but after shopping, I can get another road bike for not a whole lot more.

What is the opinion of this one for those of your guys that are into bike

I would rather buy a nice set of wheels than that bike.

Have you considered not spending $750 to be a faggot?

You are afraid of your inner spandex self there bad boy !!!

Ribble bikes for a good Carbon Fiber frame and decent wheels and groupset.

I have a similar model giant that I got got 'used' for 500 3-4 years ago. It's nice for road/tris/ scenic rides. It will beat the hell out if a 'normal' bike only thing I wish was I had more gears. Think mine only has 24(3x8) speeds, usually end up in top 3 gears 95% of the time.

Stay out of the road with your kids toy? Is that bike advice?

No, nothing wrong with it, just a bit old and very meh.

105 hasn't been 10 speed since 2014 and those are the first gen 105 10 speed shifters which puts them from 2006 to 2009.

On the other hand, nice wheels are one of the best, most noticeable upgrades you can make. Stiffer wheels with less rotational mass are both very good things.

What's the spec on your cannondale?

Anything with two wheels better have a motor between them.

Here is the Cannondale. I love the bike but for the longer rides I think a true road bike would be better.

Buy yourself a set of ebay carbon wheels. You will be amazed at what it will do for your bike.

I am just learning all this bike stuff.

So the CF frame and fork and the wheels are huge pluses I would assume but you are saying that the groupset is outdated. Can you change out to the more modern groupset? What kind of cost is that?

This is the only advice that matters.
