    U Channel source?

I assumed this would be easy, Trying to find material to reinforce and extend the frame of my model A doodlebug

1/8" thickness 4" inside height vertical, 1.5" lips horizontal 6' long.

structural C channel is all I can find.

should just go full hillbilly and use angle iron

Easy press brake work. If you can't find anyone local to you I could do it.

I don't exactly have the vision, but would box tubing work?

I used box tubing to reinforce the pan on a Manx Buggy YEARS ago.

I probably could use box tubing to sleeve the frame ends but for some reason I'd rather not

maybe he's thinking to split the box tube in half to give you the profile you want.

I did have that idea, Talking with folks who seem to know more than me say that it gets wonky after the cut.

ID:	28454 This 2x3 was intended for uprights and shock mounts, probably just get more and trim the back of the frame.

I need to to kick it out to 45" on center then tuck it back in to 30" I wanted to stagger the pie cuts and bends from the original frame with it inside the [ rather than cutting it up to fit around the tubing.
