    Cucv owners: Post up here...

    Post up what models you own and what you have done to mod, Engine swaps Transmission swaps Etc..

    I have 2 or 3 have at least one or so out at another property from memory.

    Have a M1028A1, a M1031A2. and a M1009 in pieces in another state.

          Has anybody ever heard of the military purchasing K5 locally and converting them in the motor pool for use buy officers? I am going to look at one soon that the owner claims that is what this unit is. It has a 305 AC and doesn't have the hd tow points. Its priced right for a CUCV and too cheep for a nice K5. Just trying to do a little research before i go see it in person. The 3 pictures i have seen look nice.

            I have heard of trucks M1008's and blazers M1009's that were outfitted with AC for officers but have never seen one in pics or in person.

            Have been to one MVPA meet although it was 20+ years ago.

            The forum by the name of www.steelsoldiers.com would be where I would look for that info.
