going to assemble a Dana 60 with a Zip locker, I dont have the shims from the old carrier what is a good starting shim stack?

My junkyard SD60 old ring and pinion had a shim stack of 0.052” on the passenger side (ring gear side), and 0.026” on the driver side (carrier side), I ended up pretty close to that at the end, so that’s probably a good place to start.

Put the brgs on the carrier and carrier in the housing, setup your dial on the back of tbe carrier, move it full stroke side-side and add 5-10 k of that.
